About CANTUS
The CANTUS Singers of Cambridge is a friendly chamber choir of between 24 and 26 singers, which was established in 1991.
The choir meets on Monday evenings in central Cambridge weekly during term, and prepares for at least three concerts each year. Music is chiefly performed a cappella and soloists are usually taken from the choir.
The choir gives all its concerts for charity, and has raised several thousands of pounds during the past few years for many organisations, including parish church restoration funds, NSPCC, Greenpeace, Crossroads (Caring for carers), Camfed and London charities for the disadvantaged.

We are always pleased to receive applications for membership. Prospective singers, who must be good sight-readers, are auditioned and join the choir initially on a month's trial. The current termly subscription is £10.00.
At the moment, we have vacancies for 1st sopranos, 2nd altos and 1st basses. Please contact the conductor, Jeremy Wong, by email at jeremywong@cantus.org.uk if you are interested in joining us.
